These are Opuntias that are small or bloom well while small. They may make excellent pot plants.
Introduction This undescribed prickly pear cactus occurs in northern New Mexico and perhaps into Colorado. It has similarities with Opuntia macrorhiza. However, the flowers have no red in them and the stigma is bright green. More studies are needed.
