What is Cylindropuntia bernardina?

Cylindropuntia bernardina is an erect cholla growing to 2 m tall occurring mainly in chaparral, oak scrub, juniper woodlands, plains, and hills of the Transverse and Peninsular mountain ranges of southern California and their intervening valleys.
