Opuntia sp nova aff macrorhiza

Introduction This undescribed prickly pear cactus occurs in northern New Mexico and perhaps into Colorado. It has similarities with Opuntia macrorhiza. However, the flowers have no red in them and the stigma is bright green. More studies are needed.
