Opuntia confusa Griffiths 1914

O. confusa is an interesting taxon because some pads have spination similar to O. dulcis, whereas other cladodes have spination similar to O. engelmannii. Read an early account of O. confusa published in the Proceedings of the Biological Society of Washington, v.27, pg. 28, 1914.
